Throughout the summer, Sardanes in Lloret de Mar16.07.2016
Every Saturday from the 11th of June until the 24th of September, except for the 23rd of July, Lloret de Mar celebrates, in the Town Hall square, the 90th year celebration of outdoor Sardanes. From 10pm, different groups entertain the summer evenings with traditional Catalan dancing.
The “Sardana” is a popular Catalan dance that’s considered the Catalonia National dance. This style of dancing is performed by couples of men and women, alternating man-woman-man-woman that by holding hands form a large circle and tap and move their feet to the rhythm of the music played by the Cobla Band.
We recommend that you come and discover the traditional Calatan Dance and don’t miss out on the opportunity to join in, you will have a fun and enjoyable summer evening, accompanied by the best music under the starry night sky.
