Visit Girona’s Christmas market

Don't miss Girona’s Christmas market at Plaça Independència this Christmas. It has twenty-three wooden houses where you can find all kinds of typical Christmas items (such as figures for the nativity scene, wooden toys, fir trees or tions), as well as handcrafted food products.

Open every day until January 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., except on December 25 and 26 and January 1.


Stroll through the Vic Christmas crafts fair

The turns of the Plaça Major in Vic, capital of the Osona region, will once again host the Christmas craftsmen’s fair, which will have more than thirty exhibitors that sell artisan-made pieces, with products such as incense and candles, clothing and accessories, artistic painting, puppets, jewelry, glass, wooden pieces...

On January 2 and 3 from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on January 4 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.


Try your luck in the Gran Quina of Bescanó

If you are a fan of bingo and you are looking for any excuse at home to set up one with your family, this Christmas you cannot miss the Gran Quina of Bescanó, organized by Club Esportiu Bescanó, Club Bàsquet Bescanó and Club Patinatge Bescanó.

This municipality in the Gironés region has one of the most spectacular bingo halls in the entire province of Girona, both due to the large number of visitors and the quality and importance of the prizes that are distributed.

It is held on January 1 and 6 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Poliesportiu Municipal (Passeig de Sant Jordi).


Attend a living nativity scene

During this time of year, in many Catalan towns live nativity scenes, representations of the birth of Jesus and other religious scenes are celebrated taking advantage of the natural environment.

Receive the Three Wise Men in Girona

On January 5, 2022, the Three Wise Men from the East will visit every corner of the city of Girona. They will have an extensive program of events and actions that will bring magic to all the city's neighborhoods.

From 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., there will be performances by the royal groups in all neighborhoods and at 12:40 p.m. there will be pre-parades in the Parc Central and Plaça del Vi, in the direction of the real camps of Camp de Mart, in the Devesa. In the afternoon, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., the three royal camps will have the presence of Melchor, Gaspar, Baltasar and the entire royal cortege. And at 6:00 p.m., they will walk to La Copa, where the grand final act will take place at 7:45 p.m.

The tour will pass through Caterina Albert street, Prudenci and Bertrana square, Miquel de Palol square, Mestre Francesc Civil street, Joan Brossa square, Poeta Marquina square, Sant Antoni Maria Claret square, Joan Maragall street, Catalunya square, Sant Francesc avenue, Santa Clara street, Independència square (by west road), Ramon Folch avenue and, finally, the clock roundabout to access La Copa.
