In addition to All Saints’ Day, the Catalans celebrate la Castanyada, a day in which people roast and eat chestnuts. During these dates, a traditional sweet made with a marzipan base called panellets are also eaten.

During this day, different events are held, among which the procession to the Santa Cristina Hermitage, the S’Amorra Amorra regatta or the traditional dance in the Plaza de la Vila (“Ball de Plaça”) stand out.
