Lloret de Mar does not have a train station. The nearest train station is in Blanes, the neighboring municipality, about 7 kilometers away.

The easiest way to go from Barcelona’s airport to Lloret de Mar by train is to take the R2 Nord line to Estació de Sants and then take the local train directly to Blanes. If you are choosing to spend the day in Barcelona, ​​to get to Blanes by train from Barcelona’s city centre, you can take the train at Sants, Plaça Catalunya, Arc de Triomf or El Clot stations. Trains between Barcelona and Blanes leave every half hour and the journey takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Once at the Blanes station, you can take a direct bus from Blanes to the center of Lloret de Mar. The bus schedules between these two coastal towns vary according to the season and the day of the week, but they usually run twice every hour and the trip takes about 20 minutes.

Although the fastest option to get to Lloret de Mar by public transport is by bus, we leave you with another option to get to this coastal town. To go from Girona to Lloret de Mar by train, you must take the train towards Barcelona Sants and change at Maçanet-Massanes to take another train towards Hospitalet de Llobregat until you reach Blanes.
