The Municipal Theatre of Lloret is one of the most important cultural institutions in Lloret de Mar. It is located in the centre of town, at Plaça de Germinal Ros, 1, in Lloret de Mar, in the Can Saragossa park.
Since it opened in 2011, it has hosted theatre, dance, music, opera, cinema, circus and puppet shows. The theatre has a 274 square metre stage, three rehearsal rooms and a capacity of 415 spectators (with 198 fixed seats and 217 folding seats).
This year, the town of Lloret de Mar has been chosen as the Capital of Catalan Culture 2023, a commemoration that aims to highlight the cultural legacy of Lloret de Mar and present the town's cultural potential through proposals that combine new formats and disciplines.

You can get your tickets online at the Teatre Costa Brava Sud website or at the box office of the Museum of the Sea (Passeig Camprodon i Arrieta, 1-2), El Puntet (Avinguda de Vidreres, 58) or the Teatre de Lloret (Plaça Germinal Ros, s/n).
You can also buy a voucher for 3, 5 or 6 different shows from the performing arts season included in the theatre's own programme, or 2 shows from Lloret Espai Off or 3 shows from the Cicle Xavier Albertí.
Get a 15% discount for senior citizens, members of the youth card, large families, single-parent families and Catalan pupils; a 10% discount with a library network card, and up to 25% discount for groups of 10 or more. Unemployed people will receive a €3 discount on limited tickets, and theatre and dance students from Lloret de Mar can get up to €5 off some performances.
You can find parking for cars and motorbikes in front of the theatre, next to the avenue Vila de Tossa. It is a green zone, so a parking ticket is required from 8am to 8pm.
The theatre also offers a babysitting service during performances for families with children from 3 to 12 years old (on request at least 3 days before the performance).
