On the second weekend of November, Lloret de Mar travels back in time with the arrival of its eagerly awaited Medieval Fair, which this year celebrates its XXVI edition. On 8th and 9th November, the streets of the town centre will be transformed into a lively medieval market, with craftsmen, live music, shows and demonstrations of ancient crafts.
Considered one of the oldest medieval fairs in Catalonia, this event is part of the winter festivities in honour of Sant Romà, patron saint of the town, which are held from 7 to 18 November.During these days, the old town of Lloret de Mar recovers its most historic essence, offering a unique experience where tradition and entertainment go hand in hand.
Schedule:
The fair will take place on November 8 and 9, from 11am to 10pm.
Location:
This year, the Lloret de Mar Medieval Fair will be held mainly on the town's seafront promenade, where craft stalls, exhibitions and shows will be set up. The event will also extend to some of the most emblematic streets in the town centre, such as square of the Church, street of the Town, street of Sant Pere, Carme square and Jacint Verdaguer promenade, among others, creating a route full of atmosphere and history.

At the fair you will find recreational activities such as falconry exhibitions, street circus, minstrel shows, parades with music and fireworks, jesters, and jugglers. You will also find activities of a more commercial nature, where you can discover artisan products made using ancient techniques and taste some of the most traditional food products from medieval times.
In addition, there will be demonstrations of artisan trades (such as plumber, bricklayer or glass blower), troubadours, music, medieval huts, workshops, calligraphers, games and a fun playroom for the little ones, among many other activities.
A highly recommended fair for families due to the large number of activities and shows also aimed at children.
