There are different ways of getting around Lloret de Mar. The city center can be easily explored on foot or by bicycle (you can find bike lanes in the Rieral area and the Fenals neighborhood), although if you need to move to areas further away from the downtown, you should consider the option of taking a bus.
LloretBus is the regular and urban transport service of the city of Lloret de Mar operated by Sagalés that serves a population of about 37,000 inhabitants. It has a total of 5 regular lines that connect the city center with the main points of interest (educational and medical centers, tourist attractions, sports areas and shopping areas), perfect for moving to the places furthest from the city center like the Gardens of Santa Clotilde, Cala Canyelles or the beach of Santa Cristina.

In the town of Lloret de Mar you will find three information offices. One located at the entrance of the town (Avinguda de les Alegries, 3), another in the Maritime Museum (Passeig Camprodon i Arrieta, 1) and a third in the bus station (Avinguda Vila de Blanes, 37), both first certified with the Q for Tourist Quality.
In summer, during the months of July and August, this tourist information service is increased with a stand on the Fenals seafront (Pg. Ferran Agulló, s/n).

The business hours in Spain are a little different from other European countries. The shops in Lloret de Mar open from Monday to Saturday around 9:00 a.m./10:00 a.m. and close for lunch between 1:00 p.m./1:30 p.m.; and in the afternoon, they open around 4:00 p.m. and close around 8:00 p.m./8:30 p.m. In summer, many shops open until 11:00 p.m. (maximum time allowed for business closing). Pubs and music bars close around 3:00 a.m. and discos around 5:00 a.m. In the case of public administrations and banks, the hours are usually intensive (until 2:00 p.m.).
It should also be borne in mind that meal times in Spain are usually later than in any other European country. Breakfast is usually between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., lunch between 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. and dinner between 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Therefore, when going to a restaurant you should think that they are adapted to these same schedules.
