Restaurants with three Michelin stars

The cellar of Can Roca (Girona)

One of the best restaurants in the world is located in Girona. El Celler de Can Roca, run by the brothers Joan, Josep and Jordi Roca, is the only restaurant in the province with three Michelin stars. The twice named “best restaurant in the world” offers a unique gastronomic experience, with innovation and authenticity as its maxims.

 

Restaurants with two Michelin stars

Bo.Tic (Corçà)

Bo.Tic restaurant in Corçà, in Baix Empordà region, is one of the three restaurants in the province of Girona with two Michelin stars. Albert Sastregener and Cristina Torrent i Cos, chef and restaurant manager respectively, went from an old mill to an old carpentry workshop for carriages and shortly after they got their first star. A creative cuisine restaurant with Catalan roots, with a cellar with more than 400 references.

Miramar (Llança)

The renowned chef Paco Pérez is at the helm of Miramar, a restaurant with two Michelin stars in Llançà, in the region of Alt Empordà. Avant-garde haute cuisine dishes with Mediterranean expression a few kilometers from the easternmost point of the Iberian Peninsula, Cap de Creus. In addition, the restaurant has five spectacular suites on the seafront to fully enjoy the experience.

Les Cols (Olot)

In the rural setting of Olot, in the region of La Garrotxa, is the restaurant Les Cols, run by chef Fina Puigdevall together with her daughters in the family farmhouse where she was born. It offers a cuisine of seasonality and proximity, with proposals rooted in the land and the landscape that surrounds it. Thanks to its orchard and R&D, the restaurant values humble products typical of La Garrotxa such as buckwheat, potatoes from Vall d’en Bas or ratafia from Olot.

 

Restaurants with a Michelin star

Divinum (Girona)

Divinum restaurant, located in the heart of Girona, has retained its Michelin star for another year. Run from the dining room by owners Joan Morillo and Laura Tejero, working alongside two talented young chefs, the restaurant has once again established itself as a leading gastronomic destination in the city.

Voramar (Portbou)

Voramar, the family-run restaurant with over thirty years of history, located on the seafront in Portbou, in the Alt Empordà region, will maintain its star in the French guide in 2026. The restaurant, which focuses on seafood and mountain cuisine with a strong emphasis on the quality of its ingredients, offers two tasting menus that combine traditional and contemporary flavors.

Esperit Roca (Sant Julià de Ramis)

The Roca brothers' new culinary concept in the fortress of Sant Julià de Ramis (less than 10 kilometers from the city of Girona) retains the award it received just six months after opening. With a gastronomic offering based on reinterpretations of iconic dishes from El Celler de Can Roca, Esperit Roca offers two tasting menus (one with six courses and two desserts, and another with two courses and six desserts) and an à la carte option.

L’Aliança d'Anglès (Anglès)

Cristina Feliu and Álex Carrera run L’Aliança d'Anglès, a restaurant located in a house from 1919 in the old town of Anglès, in the region of La Selva. The restaurant regained its Michelin star last year, which it had won for the first time in 2008 with chef Lluís Feliu and lost it when he passed away. Cuisine based on regional and seasonal foods, with traditional bases in constant evolution.

Castle Peralada (Peralada)

Castell Peralada restaurant is located in a renovated 14th century castle with spectacular views located in the municipality of Peralada, in Alt Empordà region. Chef Javi Martínez takes over from Xavier Sagristà in the kitchen, and Toni Gerez, restaurant manager and sommelier, completes the tandem that runs this Michelin star restaurant with a contemporary vision of Empordà’s cuisine.

Les Magnolies (Arbúcies)

Isidre Fradera and Roser Gumà are the married couple who run Les Magnòlies, a restaurant located in a renovated 19th century stately tower located in the Arbúcies valley. With a cuisine carefully evolved from traditional products, chef Víctor Torres and his young team are in charge of transmitting the flavors of Montseny to all diners.

La Fonda Xesc (Gombrèn)

In an inn located in a mansion from 1730 in Gombrén, in the Ripollés region, is La Fonda Xesc. Chef Francesc Rovira, a disciple of Santi Santamaría (Can Fabes), presents a contemporary and creative proposal attached to the territory, working with local seasonal products. In addition to having fourteen rooms equipped with all the comforts to enjoy this unique setting.

Emporium (Castello d’Empúries)

Empòrium restaurant is located inside the hotel with the same name, in Castelló d’Empúries, in the Alt Empordà region. It is a family business restaurant, run by the Jordà family since 1635. Empordà classic cuisine, made from local organic products, but with contemporary touches.

Massana (Girona)

In the center of the city of Girona, there’s Massana restaurant. His chef, Pere Massana, carries out a cuisine that respects the roots of tradition and the nature of each product, with delicate presentations, full of nuances and avant-garde techniques. Taking advantage of the environment and the season, his kitchen keeps moving throughout the year.

Els Tinars (Llagostera)

The third generation of the Gascón brothers is the one who takes the reins of Els Tinars, Marc as chef and Elena as restaurant manager. The restaurant is located in a completely restored old farmhouse, in the municipality of Llagostera. They bet on a creative and market cuisine based on Catalan and seasonal products. They also have a cellar with more than 500 Spanish and international references.

La Cuina de Can Simón (Tossa de Mar)

La Cuina de Can Simón restaurant is located in an old fisherman’s house located in the old town of Tossa de Mar. Since 1988, the Lores-Gelpí family has been in charge of this restaurant that combines modernity and traditional cuisine with products such as fish, seafood and local vegetables.

Ca l’Enric (Vall de Bianya)

Ca l’Enric restaurant, in the Vall de Bianya (La Garrotxa), is run by the brothers Jordi, Isabel and Joan Juncà. It started in 1882 as a hostel and over time it became a restaurant. Currently, its traditional Catalan cuisine with avant-garde inspiration is developed from seasonal products and ingredients from its closest environment, the forests of the Vall de Bianya.
