The XII Rally Lloret de Mar is one of the most exciting sporting events of the rally season in Spain, with a spectacular route that spans the roads and landscapes of the Costa Brava. The course is designed to test the skills of the drivers and their cars, with a mix of mountain roads, hairpin turns and high-speed straightaways.
The XII Rally Lloret de Mar, organised by V-Line Org. and Lloret de Mar Town Council, will take place on 14, 15 and 16 February. The rally celebrates its twelfth edition this year with a route that will take in the most iconic roads in the province of Girona. The 12th Lloret de Mar Rally scores points, with a coefficient of 8 for a wide variety of championships, cups and trophies.
The promenade of Lloret de Mar will host the start and finish podiums of the stages, as well as the parc fermé and regrouping. The service park will be located in front of Hotel Evenia Olympic Palace. There are observation points strategically located along the route so that spectators can witness the most exciting moments of the race.
The total distance of the route is 590 kilometres. It will have 11 timed stages (shakedown), 5 different stages, divided into 2 stages and with up to three sections in each stage:
Stage 1:
- TC1/TC4/TC7 Tossa - Cadiretes: skirts the Costa Brava from Tossa de Mar until reaching the junction towards the hermitage of St. Grau; the final part is lengthened a few kilometres by adding the technical descent in the direction of Llagostera, making it the longest section of the competition.
- TC2/TC5 Els Àngels: due to its proximity to the city of Girona, this is a section that usually attracts a large crowd. It starts with a climb up to the crossroads of the Sanctuary of Els Àngels, which includes the downhill section, until almost reaching Madremanya.
- TC3/TC6 Sta Pellaia: the last segment of the race runs along the road that links La Bisbal and Cassà de la Selva, from Monells i Sant Sadurní de l'Heura to Santa Pellaia. A short section, although quite technical.
Stage 2:
- TC8/TC10 Cladells: runs along the road from Santa Coloma de Farners to Sant Hilari Sacalm; it is a popular section due to the bathtubs, some very characteristic linked counter-perforated bends that the participants like a lot.
- TC9/TC11 Osor: a varied and technical section that connects Osor with Anglès via the N-141e. It stands out for its challenging bends and spectacular natural surroundings, making it one of the most exciting sections of the competition.
With just a few weeks to go until the eagerly awaited XII Rally Lloret de Mar, the organisers have already received more than 114 applications from teams.
On February 14th, from 10:30h to 20h, the delivery of documentation will take place at Hotel Evenia Olympic Palace in Lloret de Mar. On the same day, between 13:30h and 15:30h, the technical scrutineering of the Shakedown cars will take place. From 15:30h to 21h, the technical scrutineering will take place at the Sports Pavilion in Lloret de Mar. To close the day, at 21:30h, the list of vehicles authorised to take part in the 1st stage will be published.
On 15 February, at 23:40h, the list of authorised vehicles for the 2nd stage will be published.
The first stage of the XII Rally Lloret de Mar will start on 15 February at 10:30 am at the Passeig Lloret de Mar Podium.

At 16:15h, the official speed results will be published, followed by the distribution of trophies in this category on the Passeig Lloret de Mar Podium. Afterwards, at 16:45h, the final regularity classification will be announced, followed by the distribution of trophies at the Passeig Lloret de Mar Podium.
